Mohre
Mohre is your partner for efficient, manufacturable sheet metal and welded constructions. Komma developed the new brand—covering strategy, verbal identity, name, visual identity, and website.
Strategy & Verbal Identity
We repositioned Mohre — formerly Hurkmans — as a specialist in efficient, manufacturable sheet metal and welded constructions, captured in the essence: “broader thinking, better making.” The verbal line emphasises sharp question-framing, craftsmanship, and a structured way of working that enables complex challenges and prototyping. The tone of voice directly mirrors how the company operates and communicates, from engineering through to post-processing.
Brand Name & Visual Identity
The name Mohre was developed in line with the verbal identity. Beneath it sit three anchors: More (seeing broader, all-encompassing), Mohr (the Mohr circle—stress and strength in metal engineering), and Ore (the material origin). The visual identity translates this into a functional, industrial system: clear, scalable across applications, and instantly recognisable in both engineering and production contexts.
Website
The website follows our standard approach: first a blueprint of the customer journey and information architecture, then component-based design and development. This delivers speed, consistency, and scalability. The result is a clear website that carries the new brand position through in a compelling way.
